A Fallston man is facing up to 35 years in jail after he was found guilty this week of sexually abusing a 4-year-old boy.
After 10 hours of deliberation a jury found James Thomas Starr, 26, of the 2100 block of Stewart Drive in Fallston, guilty of sexual child abuse and third-degree sexual offense, according to Harford County State's Attorney Joe Cassilly.
Starr had illegal sexual contact with a 4-year-old boy in March 2012, according to charging documents.
Assistant State's Attorney Lisa Hyle Marts prosecuted the case and presented testimony from the child victim during the trial, Cassilly wrote in an email to Patch.
Starr is being held at the Harford County Detention Center pending his April 17 sentencing hearing. He is facing up 35 years in prison.
