Father, Son Charged After Allegedly Shooting Dog

Both men, Bel Air residents, have been charged with animal cruelty.

A Bel Air father and son have been charged with animal cruelty after neighbors accused them of shooting their dog.

The Aegis reports Timothy Robert Kuzma, 50, and Nicholas Kuzma, 19, both of the 2500 block of Cool Spring Road were both charged with the offense. Online court records indicate both were given summons.

The paper reports a neighbor told police he heard a pop in the afternoon on Aug. 16, then saw his dog run down his property line. The elder Kuzma told state police that he told his son to shoot the dog after it defecated in his yard, according to the report.
