Bel Air Taco Bell Fire Causes Minor Damage

A Wednesday night fire at the Baltimore Pike restaurant like started outside the building in some mulch.

A fire at caused minor damage to the building late Wednesday night.

Around 11:15 p.m., firefighters responded to the restaurant in the 500 block of Baltimore Pike, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Fire and EMS Association.

Firefighters determined the fire started outside the building in some mulch, but there were signs it had spread into the building, according to Gardiner.

Firefighters removed part of the building's facade, drywall and insulation to be sure the fire would not spread. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire and officials believe it started accidentally, Gardiner said.
