All Lanes Open on I-95 After Truck Fire Near Belcamp

The fire was reported during the Monday morning rush hour.

Drivers experienced delays on Interstate 95 north near Belcamp due to a vehicle fire Monday morning.

At 8:27 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported that two right lanes would be closed near the exit for MD Route 543. Traffic cameras showed a commercial truck with smoke coming out of it around 8:30 a.m. Within minutes, the fire was out.

By 8:56 a.m., all lanes had reopened, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Crews from Abingdon and Joppa-Magnolia reportedly responded.
