Bel Air Brush Fire Near Deer Creek Park

The blaze in the 3000 block of Sandy Hook Road destroyed between four and five acres of property.

Firefighters responded to a brush fire in Bel Air Sunday afternoon. The fire did not damage any structures or cause any injuries, a fire official said.

The blaze in the 3000 block of Sandy Hook Road, in a wooded area near , was reported after 4 p.m. Firefighters brought it under control by 4:30 p.m., according to , spokesman for Harford County Fire and EMS Association.

It caused damage to between four and five acres of property, Gardiner said, but did not spread to any structures.
