Flooding Possible in Harford County Tuesday, Wednesday

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory for areas on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, including Havre de Grace.

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory for areas on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, including Harford County.

A combination of winds and tides may cause minor flooding in Havre de Grace Tuesday and Wednesday during high tide, according to the National Weather Service.

High tide was expected to hit at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday and 10:54 a.m. Wednesday in Havre de Grace, the weather service reported.

The weather service issued a coastal flood advisory for areas on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay until noon Wednesday. A small craft advisory was also in effect Tuesday along the Chesapeake Bay.
