1 Treated for Smoke Inhalation After Forest Hill House Fire

The fire was in the 1100 block of Walters Mill Road.

A man was being treated for smoke inhalation Thursday afternoon as the result of a fire inside a Forest Hill home, the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported.

Firefighters were called to a home in the 1100 block of Walters Mill Road for a house fire before 1:30 p.m., according to Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS. First responders from Jarrettsville reported that there was fire in the crawl space in back of the home.

Crews knocked out the blaze within 15 minutes, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, but continued to check to ensure the fire was out after 2 p.m.

According to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, the cause remains under investigation.
