Frederick Woman in Shock Trauma After Fall From Vehicle Near John Carroll
Police are still investigating the incident.
A 23-year-old Frederick woman is in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma after falling from a moving vehicle onto East Churchville Road on Sunday at about 5:45 a.m.
Her boyfriend, who was driving, said she jumped from the car during an argument.
Police do not know how fast the car was traveling.

Lauren Elizabeth O’Connell, 23, of the 3800 block of Kendall Drive, was found by police face-down on Churchville Road near the intersection of the access road to the town Department of Public Works. Her boyfriend, 25-year-old Arish Narayen of the 11000 block of Log Jump Trail in Ellicott City, was sitting on a nearby curb talking on his cell phone when police arrived. There was also an infant, unharmed, in a safety seat in the back of the 2009 Acura, which was blocking traffic.
O’Connell was treated by the before being transported to Maryland Shock Trauma by a state police helicopter.

Churchville Road between Brierhill Drive and the entrance was closed until noon Sunday.
The Maryland State Police and the are still investigating the incident.
