Harford Sheriff To Discuss Bel Air Concerns Saturday

The Harford County Sheriff's Office's town hall meeting, which was canceled due to inclement weather, is rescheduled for this Saturday.

This weekend Sheriff L. Jesse Bane is expected to discuss crime, public safety and concerns of the Bel Air area at a town hall meeting.

The event was , but snow and icy conditions led to cancel the meeting.

The town hall meeting for Bel Air South is now scheduled to take place Saturday at the Abingdon Branch of the Harford County Public Library.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 9 a.m. The primary purpose of the town meeting is to develop cooperative partnerships within communities and address community quality of life concerns, according to the sheriff's office.

In the meeting, the sheriff plans to provide information on crime statistics and trends in local communities, crime prevention and drug awareness, an update on the expansion, the new Southern Precinct project and other community concerns.
