“There is a strong suspicion that this is our missing person," Worrell said.

Remains were also found in a dumpster off of Trimble Road, Worrell said. It was unclear Wednesday evening whether there was more than one victim of violence.

She added that positive identification must be made by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office.

“We do have a suspect in custody," Worrell said.

The sheriff's office issued a statement over the holiday weekend asking for help locating Agyei-Kodie.

The sheriff's office said he was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on May 25 near his home in the 500 block of Terrapin Terrace in Joppa wearing jogging attire—a white T-shirt and blue shorts—with no wallet, phone or keys.
