The incident took place in the 800 block of Fisherman Lane.

An Edgewood man faces a number of charges including armed robbery after allegedly taking a sawed-off shotgun to the 800 block of Fisherman Lane on July 15.

Jones approached a building on Fisherman Lane at about 10 p.m. allegedly demanding money from a man outside, the documents state. After the man “gave him what money he had,” Jones allegedly struck a female with the shotgun “causing serious injury to her face" before going “into the street and [firing] the shotgun into the air,” the documents state.

Jones was later found by deputies in an apartment in the 1800 block of Edgewater Drive.

Jones’ girlfriend, who was also in the apartment, told police he had allegedly struck her in the face with his fist moments before police arrived. Jones “admitted to committing the above listed crimes,” according to charging documents. He is being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center.
