Man Robs Bel Air Tanning Salon

Aruba Sun & Spa was robbed Tuesday night by a man wearing a yellow bandanna across his face.

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Bel Air tanning salon Tuesday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., Harford County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a robbery at Aruba Sun & Spa, located at 225 F Brierhill Drive next to Italian Sensation in Bel Air.

An employee from the tanning salon told police a man with a yellow bandanna across his face walked into the store and demanded all the money out of the cash register, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

The employee handed the man the money drawer, and the man took an undisclosed amount of money out of it, then ran toward the Seasons of Bel Air apartments, the release states.

No one was injured and the robber did not show a weapon during the course of the robbery.

The robber is described as a thin, white man about 5' 7" to 5'10" tall and possibly in his twenties. In addition to the bandanna, he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey sweat pants.

Police dogs searched the area, but found nothing. The robbery remains under investigation.
