Mountain Road Shut Down After Crash: Officials

The crash was reported after 5 p.m. on Sunday.

A man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash on Mountain Road (MD Route 152) near Mountain Christian School, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the fire company reported that Mountain Road would be closed between Stockton and Jerusalem roads as Maryland State Police investigated the crash.

The victim was taken to Upper Chesapeake by Joppa-Magnolia, according to the report.

Harford County's Office of Emergency Management urged drivers to slow down and be extra careful on the roads Sunday due to rain and fog that could arrive between the afternoon and evening.

In addition, the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for most of the Baltimore-Washington metro area, including Harford County, stating that rain could cause flooding.
