Pedestrian Airlifted After Bel Air Area Accident

The crash took place near MD Route 22 and Schucks Road not far from Harford Community College.

A person was airlifted to a regional hospital after being hit by a car near Bel Air Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly before 2:45 p.m. a person was hit by a car near the intersection of MD Route 22 and Schucks Road by Harford Community College, according to a Facebook post from Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken by medevac helicopter for treatment, the post states.
