Person Trapped After Crash Near Harford Mall

An accident near the shut down traffic on Tollgate Road in that area Wednesday evening

Shortly before 5 p.m. an accident took place in the area of Tollgate Road and Boulton Street, according Rich Gardiner, spokesman for .

At least one person had to be extricated from a vehicle, Gardiner said. The injuries caused by the crash were believed to be minor, he said.

Tollgate Road was closed to traffic immediately following the accident, Gardnier said.

With traffic around the major shopping areas in Bel Air—including the Harford Mall and —bustling with last-minute shoppers the accident was expected to cause some traffic issues.
