Bank Robber In Neon Safety Vest Eludes Police

Maryland State Police released an additional photo of the man they say robbed the Fallston BB&T Bank at gunpoint Monday.

The gun-wielding man in neon safety vest who robbed the Fallston BB&T Bank Monday remained at large as of Thursday afternoon, police said.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, a man wearing a hard hat and a yellow and orange safety vest walked into the BB&T Bank, located at 1911 Bel Air Road in Fallston, carrying a duffel bag, according to a release from Maryland State Police.

The man pulled a black “bull pup” style shotgun, demanded money and ordered the tellers and customers to the floor, the release states. The armed man then stole an undisclosed amount of money from the teller’s drawers and coin vault, the release continues.
