Police: Forest Hill Bank Robbed at Gunpoint

Deputies said the Sovereign Bank in Forest Hill was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies are searching for two suspects they say robbed the Sovereign Bank in Forest Hill Wednesday afternoon.

At 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a hold-up alarm at the Sovereign Bank at 2006 Rock Spring Rd. in Forest Hill, according to a release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses report the suspects entered the bank wearing dark clothing and masks that covered their faces. They each displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to a release. 

The bank tellers complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspects, who then fled the bank in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.

As of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, detectives are on scene interviewing witnesses. Anyone with any information or may have seen anything suspicious is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 410-836-5442.
