POLICE: Heroin, Marijuana Charges, Keyed Truck at C. Milton Wright, Joppa Sex Offender

Recent crimes as handled by the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Bel Air

Conowingo Road, 2400 block, 3:50 p.m., March 28. A 31-year-old Bel Air man was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia with intent to use. Jason M. Engles of the 2900 block of Old Fields Road was suspected of possessing heroin, marijuana, a glass smoking device, a metal spoon and syringes. The items were discovered during a traffic stop on Conowingo Road. He has a court appearance scheduled for June 14.

Banavie Terrace East, 1400 block, Between April 1–3. An unknown suspect stole about 60 Xanax pills from an unlocked 2002 Mercury Sable.

Fountain Green Road, 1300 block, Between 6 p.m. April 1 and 10 a.m. April 2. A C. Milton Wright High School senior reported that his 2001 Ford Ranger was “keyed” by a suspect believed to be a fellow student. No charges were filed.

Fallston

Carrs Mill Road, 2300 block, Between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., March 29. A Fallston High School student’s 32 GB iPod touch was stolen from the shower room at school.

Joppa

Hanson Road, 1000 block, March 31, 8 a.m. A 57-year-old Joppa man failed to renew his registration as a Tier III sex offender. Kevin David Henry initially registered himself for residence in the 1000 block of Hanson Road when he was released from the Harford County Detention Center on Dec. 20, but failed to renew within three months. He is scheduled to appear in the Harford County District Court for the incident May 24.
