UPDATED: Police Investigating Possible Homicide in Edgewood
The Harford County Sheriffs Office discovered a man dead Sunday morning in an Edgewood home.
UPDATE (9 p.m.)—Police are investigating an unattended death of a man found Sunday in Edgewood.
Robert Wesley Johns, 51, of the 1700 block Fountain Rock Way in Edgewood was found deceased, possibly the result of a homicide, acording to a news release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies responded around 9:30 Sunday morning to the 1700 block of Fountain Rock Way in Edgewood and discovered a middle-aged man lying on the floor of a home, according to a department release.

Police responded to the residence at a request to check on the well-being of the man, the release said.
Nobody answered the door but officers heard a television on inside. Police forced entry and discovered Johns deceased on the floor and the home "in disarray," with blood on the door, the release stated.

Preliminary investigation indicates Johns may have been murdered, police said.
Johns' body was transported to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy, and the investigation into the death was ongoing Sunday night.
