1 Stabbed in Edgewood

The stabbing was reported Tuesday night.

Two brothers were assaulted in their Edgewood apartment Tuesday night, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which said one of the men was stabbed but his injuries are not life-threatening.

At 10:17 p.m., deputies were called to the 800 block of Fisherman Lane for a reported stabbing, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

A 23-year-old living in the apartment had stab wounds and his 30-year-old brother had been struck in the face, the statement said.

Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company paramedics took the younger brother, in serious condition, to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, the fire company reported. The older brother was not transported, according to the sheriff's office, which said the case remains under investigation.

"We have additional interviews to conduct," said Eddie Hopkins, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office. "There is some conflicting information that police need to figure out."
