Whiteford Teen Charged in Friend's Stabbing: Harford County Sheriff's Office
The sheriff's office said the two had an argument.
A teenager was charged with first and second-degree assault Saturday in connection with a stabbing in Whiteford that sent his friend to the hospital, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
At 9:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the 4400 block of Slate Ridge Road in Whiteford, where a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed in the abdomen by a 16-year-old boy, the sheriff's office reported.
The two were friends—the 15-year-old had spent the night at the 16-year-old's house, police said. However, they got into a fight, and the 16-year-old allegedly stabbed his friend in the stomach with a knife, according to the report.

The Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company took the 15-year-old to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday evening, according to police.
The 16-year-old—identified as Alexander Young—was charged as an adult with first and second-degree assault, police said. He was also charged with possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, according to online court records.

Young's bail was set at $250,000, the sheriff's office reported.
