A former resident of Bel Air was sentenced this week for distributing child pornography that her ex-husband produced, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland.

Lori Fisher, 46, formerly of Bel Air, will serve five years in prison followed by five years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender, the report said.

According to her plea agreement, Lori Fisher took approximately 50 pictures on her cell phone, some of which were sexually explicit, of two juvenile girls between August and December 2008, which she texted to her then husband, David Fisher, according to the district attorney's report. The couple has since divorced, the report said.

The pictures were among more than 2,200 images and 100 videos of minors engaged in sexual activity that officials found during a search of David Fisher's devices, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. The Baltimore Police Department executed a search warrant at David Fisher's home in November 2012 based on information that he had child pornography on an external hard drive.

Some of the pornography included prepubescent children, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. For example, one of the files found was a video named "5yo girl at bedtime! MMM," according to court documents.

An undercover Baltimore City police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl contacted David Fisher on Facebook in March 2013, the FBI reported.

Since his personal computer had been seized, David Fisher frequently used public library computers to communicate with the "girl," according to the report.

After a series of Facebook and email communications, during the course of which David Fisher sent sexually explicit photos of himself and requested the same from the 14-year-old, he proposed meeting up to have sex in April 2013, the FBI reported.

David Fisher, 43, of Dundalk, was arrested April 11, 2013, when he arrived at the meeting, according to the report.

This spring, David Fisher was sentenced to 24 years in prison plus a lifetime of supervised release for producing child pornography and attempting to entice a minor to engage in sex, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland.

Lori Fisher, formerly of Bel Air and St. Cloud, FL, received five years, the minimum sentence, according to the FBI.

This case was brought forward as part of Project Safe Childhood, a U.S. Department of Justice initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The victims have received support services, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
