Two-Alarm Abingdon Fire Injures 1

The Fullerton Place fire was contained within 15 minutes.

One unidentified resident suffered minor injuries in an Abingdon townhouse fire around 5:40 p.m. Thursday.

The two-alarm blaze along the 300 block of Fullerton Place was contained within 15 minutes by firefighters from Abingdon, Joppa, Aberdeen Proving Ground and . Calls for additional engines were canceled, according to Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman Rich Gardiner.

The fire caused damage to the first floor of the residence. There was also "minor" damage to townhomes on both sides, Gardiner said.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
