UPDATE: One Hospitalized after Vehicle Flips on Route 24

The crash in Bel Air occurred around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday

UPDATE (10 a.m.)—One person was hospitalized after a crash in Bel Air Wednesday morning, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The crash occurred when a vehicle overturned on MD Route 24 at Marketplace Drive around 9:14 a.m., Gardiner said, and at least one person was trapped inside the vehicle.

By 9:34 a.m., the extrication was complete and one person was taken by ambulance to a local trauma center, Gardiner said.

According to Gardiner, the victim's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
