When Earthquake Hit, 'I Was Painting' on a Ladder
A West MacPhail Road resident found damage on her property after Tuesday's earthquake.

When the earthquake first started, I actually thought it was a helicopter flying over my house (as they often do) on its way to the , but when the ladder I was standing on starting shaking (I was painting) I knew it was an earthquake! I grabbed my cell phone and ran down the steps toward the front door, but by the time I got there, the shaking had stopped.
I did a quick walk around my house, but initially didn't see any damage. Of course upon closer inspection, we saw all of the concrete damage :(
