Fallen Power Lines Shut Down Part of Route 543
Utility crews were on the way to South Fountain Green Road, officials said.
Officials closed a section of road in the Fountain Green area Wednesday afternoon because of storm damage, officials said.
After power lines and utility poles fell down on MD Route 543/South Fountain Green Road, Verizon and BGE crews were on the way, the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association reported before 12:30 p.m.
Route 543 was completely closed to traffic between MD Route 22/Churchville Road and Prindle Drive, Harford Fire & EMS reported.
There was no estimated time for reopening the road, the report said.
