Woman Injured in Fall at Kilgore Falls

The woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

A 64-year-old woman was injured Thursday in a fall at Kilgore Falls in Pylesville, according to authorities.

Before 1 p.m., an ambulance was called to Kilgore Falls, part of the Falling Branch Area of , located off Falling Branch Road in Pylesville, according to , spokesman for .

Firefighters from Norrisville, Jarrettsville and Whiteford Volunteer Fire Companies were called to the scene to help get the woman out of the woods safely, according to Gardiner.

Fire department personnel used an ATV and rescue basket to get the woman to the ambulance, Gardiner said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to Gardiner.
