Election Outcome Unchanged After Final Vote Count

The final votes were tallied this morning in Bel Air Town Hall, but the outcome remains the same with Edward Hopkins, Robert Reier and Susan Burdette to serve on the Bel Air Board of Commissioners.

Election judges gathered in Bel Air Town Hall once again Thursday morning, this time to count provisional and absentee ballots.

All eight abstentee ballots were approved while all five provisional ballots were rejected. The provisional ballots were rejected based on residency and voter registration issues.

Four absentee votes went to Greg Adolph, one to Susan Burdette, one to Terence Hanley, six to Edward Hopkins and five to Robert Reier. One vote was for a write-in candidate.
