CANCELED: Harford County Sheriff’s Office Town Hall Meeting

UPDATE (4:11 p.m.)— The Harford County Sheriff’s Office Meeting scheduled for January 21, 2012 at the Abingdon Branch of the HCPL at 9am has been cancelled.  Our Citizens’ safety is of the utmost importance to us, so due to the potential for icy roads in the morning, we have cancelled our Town Hall meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 9am. It will be rescheduled for a future date.

was expected hold a town hall meeting for the Bel Air South area on Saturday morning at the Abingdon Branch of the Harford County Public Library.

Doors were to open at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 9 a.m. The primary purpose of the town meeting is to develop cooperative partnerships within communities and address community quality of life concerns.

The meeting was to cover topics such as crime statistics and trends in your community, crime prevention and drug awareness, an update on the expansion and new Southern Precinct project as well as any other community concerns.
