Hanley Requests Jury Trial in Theft Case

The town commissioner appeared in a Cecil County court Wednesday morning.

The request means he will stand trial sometime well after next week's election on a from his former employer in Elkton.

Hanley is seeking reelection in hopes of serving a third consecutive four-year term. He said following court that he will "try" to appear in at 7 p.m.
