James Run Bridge Replacement Among Upcoming State Road Projects

Streetscape projects, intersection improvements and resurfacing are also on tap.

The State Highway Administration released a list of its upcoming projects so drivers can know what to expect before they hit the roads this travel season. Here's the rundown for Harford County.

MD 7 (Philadelphia Road): BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

Due to the bridge replacement over James Run, MD 7 will be completely closed during the summer to expedite the project. A posted detour will be in effect from spring to fall 2014.

Eastbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway): RESURFACING
There may be restrictions from Long Bar Harbor Road to Spesutia Road for a resurfacing project from summer to fall 2014.

MD 755 (Edgewood Road): STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS
Edgewood Road from Willoughby Beach Road to the Edgewood MARC Station may be restricted from spring 2014 to summer 2016.

MD 22 (Aberdeen Throughway): INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT
Traffic may be limited on Old Post Road from spring 2014 to fall 2016.

MD 22 (Aberdeen Throughway): INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT
BRAC-related intersection improvements will be made on Route 22, which may restrict traffic on Beards Hill Road (MD Route 132) from summer 2014 to fall 2015.

MD 543 (Riverside Parkway): RAMP WIDENING/RESURFACING
Traffic on Interstate 95 at the Route 543 ramp may have limited access from fall 2013 to summer 2014.

US 40 (Pulaski Highway): RESURFACING
Route 40 may be limited between Bel Air Avenue (Route 132) and Robinson Avenue from summer 2013 to fall 2014.
