SARC Receives State Grant

A Harford County-based nonprofit will receive grant funding from the Governor's Office for Crime Control and Prevention.

The Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP) will renew its grant with the Sexual Assault and Spouse Abuse Resource Center in Harford County for another year. 

The GOCCP announced Monday that it will renew "continuation" grants with 25 Maryland organizations that provide services to crime victims. 

Among the $465,751 in total grant funding from the GOCCP, SARC will receive $9,148 to support its Crisis Intervention Lethality Project.

SARC is a nonprofit organization in Bel Air that provides a variety of services to victims of domestic, dating and sexual violence.
