Thanksgiving Closings in Bel Air

For many Harford County residents, Thanksgiving means a good meal and maybe even a day off.

Patch has put together the following list to help you keep track of who is sharing that day off so you know what to expect.

Harford County government offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, for Thanksgiving. County offices will reopen Monday, Nov. 26.

Municipal offices in Bel Air will also be closed Thursday and Friday for the holiday.

Harford Transit will not be running on these days and the county's waste disposal center will be closed.

Harford County Public Libraries will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Harford County District and Circuit courts will also be closed Thursday and Friday.

Harford Waste Disposal Center is closed Thursday and Friday.

Harford Sanitation will not conduct trash pickup on Thanksgiving Day, with twice a week garbage service resuming Monday. Once a week Thursday and Friday pick up will be pushed back one day.

In Bel Air, recycling that is normally picked up Thursday will be collected Saturday.

Friday's recycling will be collected as scheduled.

There will be no yard waste collection Friday.
