Public works crews are set to begin the final phase of improvements on Wheel Road in Bel Air next week, and officials are asking drivers to expect road closures.
The five to six month project will begin on or around next Wednesday, June 26 between Cedar Lane and Glenargus Drive, according to a press release. That section of Wheel Road will be closed to through traffic, but crews will maintain access to homes there.
Work in this phase will include road construction, realignment, installation of a storm drain pipe and construction of retaining walls, according to the release.
