Suspicious Bel Air Fires Continue, Other News

News of the Day

The suspicious fires in the Hampton Ridge/Henderson Road area of Bel Air continue. If you live in this area ask your neighbors if they are aware of what is happening in the neighborhood. The BAVFC needs you to be vigilant and call 911 immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.

Many thanks to those who came out last night (Wednesday) for dinner at the Silver Spring Mining Company to support the BAVFC. A big thanks also goes to the Silver Spring management for putting this program together for us. The BAVFC is trying to make these fund raising nights a monthly occurrence. If you  would like to host a fund raising day/night for the company you can call 410-638-4400.

I have had a few folks ask me recently about tours of the station and fire prevention talks for children. All you need to do is visit this link on our website: http://www.bavfc.org/event_request.php. Simply complete the form in full and someone from our fire prevention/community relations division will call to follow up. Make sure you are as specific as possible in your request and most importantly please give us enough time with your request. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we cannot process last-minute tours and talks.
