Community Update

The pharmacy at this store really sucks!!! The prescriptions are NEVER ready, the pharmacist (the man) is rude as all get out!! I dropped off a prescription at the drive though. The girl asked when I would like to pick it up. I said 6:00 pm that day and she said it would be ready (this was 8:00am) She asked for a phone number is case there were any questions. So, 7:00 PM I go back into the store, and there was a line. Two people ahead and 20 minutes later, I was still waiting! When I finally got up to the counter and gave my name,they couldn't find the meds. After the girls there ran around looking everywhere, the pharmacist said there were no refills left on it. I told him there was 1 left. He told me there wasn't! It was now Saturday at 7:55 PM, so there was no way I could even talk to a doctor. And I was out of meds. I told him he needed to check the bottle because it DID say 1 refill left. He told me he threw it out! I asked why he didn't call me when he was refilling it. He was downright nasty at this point. I asked isn't that why you are asked for phone number as you drop it off. He then actually called the next person in line!!! The woman said he wasn't done with me yet! I told him to get the bottle and he said it was in the trash and he wasn't going to look for it. It was now 8:10. That when I lost it! I told him it was his job to fill my prescription and if it was in the trash then he damned well WAS going to look for it. So he makes a big production of taking the trash can behind the counter and emptying it on the floor! Seriously, why didn't he do this in the beginning! Well, he finds the bottle and throws it to me. I look at the label and say it says right here, there is ONE refill left! OMG He grabbed the bottle from me and refilled it all the while talking/muttering in his native language. I'm pretty sure he was cussing me out! When he was done, he put it in a bag and threw it on the counter in front of me and told me to leave!!!! I did, and that was the last time I went to Rite Aid Pharmacy. I wrote corporation about the incident but never received a response. This was a snail mail letter and I included my email address, but nothing!
