Bel Air Preschoolers Sing Star-Spangled Banner at Ripken Stadium

Four, five and six-year-olds entertained the crowd at recent Aberdeen IronBirds game.

Baseball players weren't the only ones who had practiced before a recent game at Ripken Stadium.

A group of preschool students from The Goddard School in Bel Air had been tuning up for weeks to prepare for their time under the lights too. (See their practice video here.)

The group of 4 to 6-year-olds laid it all out on the field Friday, with their rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, before the IronBirds took on the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Wearing special baseball-themed t-shirts, the 50 children performed in front of a house full of fans. School officials said that after singing the national anthem, "copious amounts of peanuts and Cracker Jacks were consumed by all!"

The preschoolers have not yet announced the next stop on their tour.
