School Supply Drive Benefits Harford Boys & Girls Clubs

Residents can drop of school supplies for donation to Harford County Boys & Girls Clubs at the Bel Air Staples.

and DoSomething.org have teamed up with teen actress and singer Bella Thorne for the fifth annual Staples for Students national school supply drive to help kids in need.

The drive encourages local teens and young people to collect school supplies and drop them off at their nearest store through September 15.

School supplies and donations will benefit the which in turn will make sure the supplies get to kids who need them most, according to a release from Staples.

The Bel Air Staples, located at 615 Bel Air Road, will serve as the supply drop off spot.

Staples has announced the business will donate school supplies worth $125,000 to the program this year, according to the release. Staples customers can also participate by donating $1 or more at any Staples store.

All donations will go directly to students in need, according to the release.

Teens can visit the dedicated Staples website to find out what they can do to promote the program and help their fellow students.
