Water Issue Reported at Edgewood High School

Harford County Public Schools said employees were working to fix the issue.

There were drinking and hand-washing stations at Edgewood High School on Wednesday due to sediment in the water, according to Harford County Public Schools.

Sediment had been detected in the bathroom water on Tuesday, the school system reported, noting that employees were working to fix the situation as quickly as possible.

The drinking stations and water dispensers were made available as a precautionary measure, according to Jillian Lader, spokeswoman for Harford County Public Schools. She said Harford County Water and Sewer personnel were taking measures to eliminate the sediment from the water.
