FOOTBALL: Reddish Kicks Huskies to 3-0 Start

Kyle Reddish's field goal with 4:57 remaining Friday night proved to be the difference as beat 9–7.

"Anytime we beat , it’s great. Anytime we beat an upper-level Chesapeake Division team, it’s great," head coach Josh Mason said. "Kyle has a great determination. We had an extra point blocked early in the game, he missed a field goal, and then he came back and kicked it through the goalposts."

Quarterback Luke DePasquale had a one-yard run for the for the first score of the game with 11:58 remaining in the fourth quarter.  answered less than 90 seconds later with a touchdown run of more than 60 yards for .

The had a final shot to win near the Huskies 30-yard-line with 0.3 seconds remaining in the game, but quarter Ryan Monardo was sacked.

"They’re a very good team. They ended up pressing us in the right places at the right times," Bobcats head coach said of . "You can’t win the game on a couple big plays. You need to have some type of sustained work ethic."
