Harford County School Bus Routes, Meal Plan Applications

Find out when your son or daughter's bus will be arriving.

Harford County Public Schools have released school bus routes for the 2011–2012 school year. Click here and select your school to find the planned route.

"Bus routes are planned so that a maximum number of children are picked up and discharged at the nearest stop to their homes," a release from the school system states. "Generally, bus stops are located at least one-fourth mile apart. The bus drivers will inform the children of the designated stops during the first few days of school."

About 35,000 students will ride county buses. Students in the following schools will receive their planned routes via postcard:

, the Science and Mathematics Academy at Aberdeen High School, the Global Studies Program/International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Edgewood High School, the Natural Resources and Agricultural Science Magnet Program at North Harford High School and the daytime Alternative Education Program.

If a postcard is not received by Aug. 22, the HCPS Transportation Department should be contacted at 410-638-4092.

The school system is also accepting applications for meal plan assistance in the upcoming school year.

Applications can be mailed to HCPS Food and Nutrition Services, 101 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, MD; faxed to 410-638-4201; or dropped off at any county school. They may be submitted throughout the school year and cannot be transferred from other states or counties.
