Harford County Schools Closed Thursday For Rosh Hashanah

Harford County Public Schools are closed on Thursday in observance of Rosh Hashanah. 

Schools will be open on Friday.

In honor of the holiday closing, both The Arena Club, and the Bel Air Athletic Club are offering childcare options for Thursday. 

The Arena Club is hosting Day Camp, where kids can enjoy a fun-filled day of indoor sports, outdoor games and activities, swimming, and more. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, with extended care from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Click here for more information and pricing)

The Bel Air Athletic Club is offering Holiday Camp on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an extended option until 6 p.m. The day will consist of a field trip to Chuck E. Cheese, plus swimming, tree house activities and more.  (Click here for more information and pricing)

The next planned schedule interruption to the school day is early dismissal for elementary students on Sept. 20. All schools are closed on Oct. 18 for the Maryland State Education Convention.
