gained membership in an international honor society this month.
On May 4, the college held its first initiation ceremony into Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society, according to a release from the school.
The group is an academic honor society for college students with disabilities.
According to the society's web site, the group is open to students who have a documented disability, work with one of the faculty in the Office of Disability Services, show interest in disability issues and, in the case of undergraduates, have finish at least 24 credits with an overall of at least 3.10 GPA.
Eight students were a part of the inaugural Harford Community College induction.
