HCPS Addresses Bullying at Seminar Thursday

The discussion will be held from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. on Thursday.

If you're concerned your child is struggling with a bully, Harford County Public Schools wants to help.

October is Bullying Awareness Month, and the Harford County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) is hosting a discussion Thursday that will focus on bullying.

Buzz Williams from the HCPS Student Services Department will be present to answer questions about bullying as a follow up to the SECAC presentation in September, which focused on cyber bullying.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. in the Board Room on the 1st floor of the A.A. Roberty Building in Bel Air (102 South Hickory Street). All parents and guardians of children in HCPS are invited to attend, along with members of the community and HCPS staff.

Anyone with questions about the meeting, or about Harford County SECAC in general, should email HarfordSECAC@comcast.net.
