Bel Air Teams Win Big Over Weekend

Bel Air and Fallston teams had big wins over the weekend in soccer and field hockey.

The Bel Air High School girls varsity volleyball team will advance to the state semifinals Wednesday night at College Park.

Big results from the weekend include:

  • Fallston Field Hockey » The Fallston Cougars defeated Crisfield 2-0 Nov. 10 at Washington College for the Class 1A state championship title for the second year in a row.
  • C. Milton Wright Girls Soccer » The lady Mustangs secured a 2-1 state semifinal win in soccer over Urbana Nov. 10 at CCBC Essex. The girls will face off against River Hill at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the UMBC Stadium in Catonsville for the Class 3A State Final.
  • Fallston Girls Soccer » The Fallston Cougars earned a 1-0 win over Calvert this past weekend. They will play Midtown at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the UMBC Stadium in Catonsville for the Class 2A State Final.
