Maryland Superintendent to Visit Bel Air School

The Maryland Department of Education official will 'read' by example.

The superintendent of Maryland schools will visit Bel Air kindergarteners this week for a special story time.

As part of the "Read Across Maryland" celebration, Superintendent Lillian Lowery will read to students at Emmorton Elementary School on Friday.

"Read Across Maryland" is a statewide initiative that encourages students to read by setting aside 30 minutes a day to do it.
