Patterson Mill Girls Basketball Team Wins Region Championship
The girls fought to the end to gain the win Friday.
The girls varsity basketball team held strong to the end of region title game Friday to secure the win and advance in their quest for a state title.
The Huskies topped the Kent Island Buccaneers in the Class 2A East region title game Friday by a narrow margin of 61 to 58.
The team was all smiles after the win.

The boys team is also tearing up the court this season. They will face Easton in the East regional championship game Saturday.
