Stetka Returns to C. Milton Wright Baseball
Joe Stetka recently resigned as head coach of the John Carroll School baseball team.
Joe Stetka is back.
The baseball coach who at the will return to . Stetka coached junior varsity and varsity there from 2004–2009 before taking over for the Patriots.
When earlier this month, Stetka jumped at the opportunity to return.

“I guess you could say I’m back in the saddle again,” said Stetka, whose daughter will be a senior at C. Milton Wright in the fall. “Hopefully we can turn some things around there.”
The 54-year-old, whose son also went to C. Milton Wright, graduated from in 1976. He took the Mustangs to the 2008 Class 4A state title game with Blackburn on leave.

“I know that there’s a great group of kids. We have a very successful travel program at Hickory,” Stetka said. “Those kids eventually will be coming to C. Milton Wright.”
He said he has no bad feelings toward the Patriots program.
“I wish the John Carroll program nothing but success. They’ll be fine,” he said.
Patriot seniors "K.J." and were drafted by the Orioles this year. Stetka is an associate scout for Baltimore.
Perhaps the easiest part of the transition back to the public school will be the wardrobe.
“I didn’t throw anything away so I don’t have to purchase anything,” Stetka said. “Just have to clean it up, wash it up and I’m ready to go.”
