Teter talked about the differences he will face coaching in a private school environment and how he plans to recruit players from around the Harford County area.

“Being able to go out and recruit is something that I am really looking forward to,” Teter said. “Our number one goal is to cut the pipeline off and keep good Harford County kids from going down [Interstate] 95 and to Baltimore area schools. I want to keep those kids in Harford County; keep them local and keep them in their community. If we can do that, we are set as far as recruiting is concerned.”

Teter wants to improve upon last season’s records and prepare his players for college baseball.

“The conference is very, very strong top to bottom; there are no games off,” Teter said. “We want to keep building on last season’s success. We are going to just try to keep the momentum going and make sure we are a strong and competitive team in the conference and every year we want to get better and better.”
