“Great restaurants are just the beginning of what Harford County offers food and wine lovers. This year, during Restaurant Week, order some locally produced wine or take time before or after dining to visit the wineries of our Piedmont Wine Trail. Visitors can also explore the sweeter side of Harford County with “Foodie Road Trips.” The tourism website currently has self-guided trails offering some of the best places in the county to enjoy strawberries and chocolate.”

Roche added, “Now is the perfect time to check out our Strawberry Lovers Road Trip for more than 25 ways to enjoy strawberries, whether you pick them yourself at one of our family-friendly farms or savor them in homemade ice cream or a cupcake. Chocolate is always in season.”

Other changes for this year’s Restaurant Week include the elimination of the contest and several new restaurants. The Office of Tourism coordinates Restaurant Week in partnership with local restaurants and eateries.
